We have come a long way since we began serving our clients in 2018. Find out about where we started and what we are about.

In August 2018, we began our journey as Alacrity Consulting, noticing that there was an abundance of support offered for businesses which promise a great deal, but ultimately do not provide pragmatic, real world solutions to either strategic or day-to-day problems.

As strong believers in using straight forward language and providing sustainable business answers, our goal was clear...we would strive to provide creative, pragmatic solutions to support businesses in ensuring they achieve optimum effectiveness, efficiency, responsiveness and performance from their people and processes. 

 

Since our beginnings, we have worked with a large number of businesses of different sizes and sectors, providing creative strategic solutions to problems every bit as unique as our partners.  Primarily, we have worked alongside organisations in the South West of England, however we have been proud to have supported clients & organisations in London, Milton Keynes and Spain. 

 

Following our rebrand to Coast HR in January 2021, we refocussed our services to provide accessible, creative and supportive HR services and training for clients in the South West of England and beyond. This refocus also allowing clients to create closer long term links with us by enabling retained, high quality, uninterrupted service at an affordable cost.

Our high quality service is further evidenced in our fervent belief that to provide the best service you must continually develop and strive to be better, and because of this belief we are proud to claim that we are amongst the most qualified Human Resource companies in the South West of England, with Andrew possessing an an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management (Level 7), an MBA from the University of Exeter and a PGCE from the University of Plymouth. Whilst engaging with us in HR issues and services, your HR partner will always be qualified to at least CIPD level 5 standard, and we work to ensure that you maintain links with your assigned HR partner to deliver a great working relationship.

 

As well as our high quality service and commitment to our partners and clients, we are especially proud to work in the beautiful surroundings of the South West of England. We are committed to invest and support local development projects in the South West to improve opportunities and the quality of life for residents of this brilliant region. Previously this has involved to deliver vital supplies to health care practitioners during the Covid-19 pandemic, supporting local youth sports teams, providing free support to jobseekers in finding employment and through donating to local charitable causes in the North Devon area.

 

We are very proud of what we have achieved since our conception in 2018, but we are ambitious in our pursuit to continue serving our clients, partners and communities in the future.
