Working with MIST
Unfortunately, 1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage and 1 in 8 couples experience fertility issues. Yet workplaces seldom provide policies and procedures to support employees encountering such situations.
Research suggests that the overwhelming majority of employees who experience miscarriage and/or fertility issues feel ill-equipped to disclose to their employer, potentially leading to wrongful disciplinary action, avoidable decreases in staff engagement and increases in absenteeism - or even staff turnover.
Working with MIST Workshops, we work to develop and review policies and procedures within organisations, which raises awareness and creates a supportive workplace culture for individuals.
MIST Workshops' work is informed by the sector leading PhD research of Katy Schnitzler, who through MIST has supported numerous large scale organisations in the development of supportive workplace practices in the field.
